The art was Developed to provide a smaller person with THE technique to overcome and submit a much larger, more aggressive attacker. Jiu Jitsu has been in american since before president teddy roosevelt trained the gentle art.

The Orlando Grappling Club provides a space for the modern practitioner to reap the benefits of the jiu jitsu lifestyle:

  • Daily jiu jitsu training sessions followed by live rounds

  • high level warm-ups that prep your body + mind to train in the positional area of the week

  • study grip exchanges, transitions, positional control, & finishes

  • learn to build your web of positions through detailed repetition

  • train with all levels - because there are levels to this ‘ish

YOGA AT THE OGC IS ABOUT MOVING WITH INTENTION — BUILDING STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, AND MINDFUL AWARENESS FROM THE INSIDE OUT. EACH PRACTICE BLENDS BREATHWORK, FOCUS, AND FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT TO SUPPORT WHOLE-BODY WELLNESS, STRESS RELEASE, AND LONGEVITY BOTH ON AND OFF THE MAT.

OUR PROGRAM INCLUDES THREE DISTINCT CLASS STYLES DESIGNED TO MEET YOU WHERE YOU ARE AND CHALLENGE YOU TO GROW:

    •    Power Vinyasa – An energizing, athletic flow that builds endurance, stability, and focus.

    •    Primal Flow – A dynamic fusion of yoga, mobility, and bodyweight strength for balance and control.

    •    Restorative – A calming practice that releases tension and restores the nervous system.

tHE oRLANDO GRAPPLING CLUB IS A PRIVATE SOCIAL athletic CLUB, LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN ORLANDO.

ACCESS TO THE OGC IS INTENDED FOR THOSE SEEKING A HOLISTIC athletic LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE.
iT REQUIRES ADHERENCE TO ACCEPTED STANDARDS OF CONDUCT AND THE HOUSE RULES TO SAFEGUARD THE USage AND ENJOYMENT OF THE OGC BY ITs MEMBERS AND GUESTS.

for everyone

  1. AN ADULT-ONLY SOCIAL CLUB; MUST BE 18+ TO ENTER.

  2. NO BARE FEET OFF OF THE MAT. WEAR SANDALS. USE OF THE FOOT WASH BEFORE TRAINING IS MANDATORY.

  3. gOOD HYGIENE IS MANDATORY.

  4. zERO TOLERANCE FOR DISEASE. STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK OR SHOWING ANY SIGN OF SKIN INFECTION.

  5. KEEP IT SOCIAL! INTRODUCE YOURSELF, SLAP, BUMP, flow.

  6. IF YOU USE IT, PUT IT BACK. cLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF.

For jiu jitsu

  1. CHECK YOUR EGO, AMIGO.

  2. IF IT’S PADDED, IT’S PART OF THE GAME. THERE ARE 6 DIRECTIONS OF LINEAR MOVEMENT, USE THEM.

  3. EVERYTHING GOES. sEE RULE #1.

  4. NO SMALL DIGIT MANIPULATION, DON’T GRIP INSIDE THE PANTS OR SLEEVE, AND MAKE SURE YOU TAP.

  5. WEAR PROPER ATTIRE - NO T-SHIRTS, ZIPPERS, LOW CLEAVAGE, BUTTONS, OR POCKETS.

For yoga

  1. Arrive early. Doors will be locked when class starts. minimal distractions = maximum grounding.

  2. No cell phones during class — this is your time to unplug.

  3. Be MINDFUL of fragrances — please avoid strong scents. Respect your neighbor and the space.

  4. Clean and return your props after class. Used towels go in the hamper — leave the space as you found it.
